About

The Geographic Information Systems Society of Trinidad and Tobago is a community for innovative minds to promote the use of GIS Concepts and Geospatial Technology. We are non-profit organization founded in 1996, to create a platform for Geographic Information Systems in Trinidad and Tobago that inspires, educates, and informs to realize the full potential of GIS in our country.

Vision

To be the premier professional society for enriching and advancing the geospatial technology community within Trinidad and Tobago

Aim

To facilitate collaboration amongst users of Geospatial Technology and advocate the use of such, for the benefit of all stakeholders in the Geospatial Technology Community of Trinidad and Tobago

Goals

1. Provide a platform for collaboration amongst stakeholders of the Geospatial Technology Industry of Trinidad and Tobago
2. Encourage best practices and innovation within the Geospatial Technology field
3. Promote the value and benefit of GIS and Geospatial Technology
4. Challenge and develop our members in a way that captures the enthusiasm of a strong network of professionals
